This is a limited edition A4 Giclee print on high quality acid-free paper using premium inks. Each print is numbered and signed by the artist.
A Year of Silence
After three solid years of writing and recording the collection of songs which make up The Silence Of Staying In, we finally released our debut record on April 17, 2020 – just weeks after the emergence of the pandemic.
When we planned the release, we had big ambitions to debut the songs across a series of live shows which we unfortunately had to shelve and have not yet had the opportunity to revisit. Among ourselves we’ve called it a year of silence. A year in which the songs from The Silence Of Staying In have reached listeners in nearby and far-flung places, and a year in which we’ve silently reflected on it all in the hope of resurrecting the plans we had when the album went to press.
The art lives on – as it always will. And we’re nothing short of ecstatic to team up with the supremely talented Dublin-based artist Sketchy to reimagine The Silence Of Staying In’s cover art. We’ve been fans of Sketchy’s work for a very long time. There is a depth and vibrancy to what he does that is truly inspirational and we are very grateful to him for his take on the artwork which is presented in a stunning A4 print, now available to purchase on our store. - FIELDS
About SKETCHY
With a passion for bright colours, street art and 90’s cartoons, Sketchy is dedicated to spreading a positive message through his work.
His work is predominantly digital, with a heavy emphasis on the city and streetscapes.
Commercially he has worked for many brands such as Irish Whiskey Distilleries and ALOFT Hotels.
